Underscore

Underscore is a highly entrepreneurial design consultancy working in both the print and web arenas. During the past 5 years it has grown from strength to strength and developed its offer within a variety of niche markets. It is now ready to really take off!

The client’s objectives

  • To create sustainable growth and to develop existing strengths into new markets
  • To further enhance the existing brand and develop it for the future
  • To create a proactive and lively team committed to creativity and commerciality that will deliver the brand promise

The Branding Workshop’s help

Working with Neil Stanhope, a talented and visionary MD, The Branding Workshop helped the company to re-evaluate their business goals and the existing successful brand recreating it for the future.

Creative exercises were undertaken to find a language both written and visual to capture the personality, values and image of the brand, and a brand note book put together.

The team have created a highly original 'brand book' that describes, to prospective customers, the way in which the Underscore brand can make a difference to them and the team can visualise their brand personality, values and culture.

Underscore as a result of this process, have taken on new staff, rearranged their office, and are putting together an intranet that will be the place for everyone to exchange ideas. A new and more targeted brand proposition is now in place so that customers can effectively differentiate Underscore from their competition. They are now winning more profitable business and developing new markets.
