Duck and Cover

The client’s objectives

Yvonne Fuchs was called into Duck and Cover to help them develop a coherent brand.

The issue

The brand had been bought by the current owners a few years previously, and whilst great care had been given to the product development, the current owners felt there was a need for a well developed brand story, to help them grow the brands awareness and strength in the market. They were very committed but found their time dissipated and their had been a lack of focus on the brands strategy. They had a good range of outlets but felt that the brand was being undersold ,and therefore wanted to raise their game!

The Branding Workshop’s help

A number of branding workshops were carried out with the top team to help them understand their brands strengths and weaknesses. A positioning exercise was undertaken to develop a good picture of the competitors and their position against them.

Creative exercises were undertaken to find a language both written and visual to capture the personality, values and image of the brand, and a brand note book put together.

Customers were analysed and a new sales strategy was created to bring the brand into the areas where the directors saw the best fit. This was then developed into a new web site , and POS materials for the brand. Merchandisers briefed to create the new story in store. And sales team briefed with the story.
